When a project is received and the block materials are selected, how to open the materials should be carefully considered and planned. Open good materials, which can not only meet the quality requirements of the project but also ensure the requirements of the material yield, without wasting materials.
There are many products in a project with different lengths and thicknesses. The size of a block is not very suitable for the requirements of the project, which needs to be realized through various opening activities. It is difficult to express the actual material opening activity in words. It is easy to understand and accurate through the material opening drawing to ensure that the material opening personnel will not open the wrong material.
As the material planner of the factory, the material user of the material opening team of the workshop, or the relevant manager of the workshop, you must have a certain knowledge of drawing the material opening drawing. The drawing methods of the material drawing include the hand drawing method and computer drawing method.

3. Manual drawing method

5. Drawing method of blank cutting drawing
The drawing method of blank cutting drawing is to master these twelve words: “cutting head”, “trimming height”, “trimming thickness”, “splitting”, “slicing” and “explanation”.
“Cutting head” can also be called “chopping tail”, which is to improve the yield rate, save the waste materials, and leave the surplus parts of the waste materials according to the production processing list. If the cut part has the same texture and color as the part to be cut, and the size meets the requirements, it can also be used in the same project. If the texture and color of the cut part and the part to be cut are different, and the size does not meet the requirements, it will become surplus materials stacked in the waste yard or scrap yard.
The purpose of “raising” is to improve the yield of the block and cut off the margin in the height direction of the block as the residual material.
“Thickening” is cutting off the allowance in the thickness direction of the block and leaving it as the surplus material in order to improve the yield of the block.
“Piece splitting” is dividing the “cut head” block into small blocks according to the requirements of the production and processing orders
“Partitioning” is to open blank.
“Description” is to make some opening instructions on the opening draw. For example, the number and thickness of blanks.
After completing the above preparation work, the blank-cutting process will be started, and the blank will be cut into blanks for processing stone products.
